Spring Trip

The Rowlett Band and Choir will be traveling to _____ this coming Spring of 2019 to enjoy many of its amazing attractions.
Coordinated by PERFORM AMERICA, TX, the trip promises to be exciting and eventful so we encourage as many students and chaperones to attend the trip if at all possible.   
 
Events and attractions include: Disneyland, Santa Monica Pier, Farmers Market, California Adventure, Cats – The Musical, Disney Studio Music Workshop, Universal Studios, Hollywood and LA Tours. 
 

Trip Contract

ELIGIBLITY

Students who wish to be eligible for the trip must comply with the following criteria:

1.  Exemplary history of citizenship

2.  Academically responsible

3.  All Band Fees current at ZERO balance by December 13 – All “trip payments” will be submitted towards band fees if the student is not current.

STUDENT PAYMENT PLAN

  • 1st NON-REFUNDABLE payment of $350 per person due October 31, 2018

  • 2nd NON-REFUNDABLE payment of $350 per person due November 30, 2018

  • 3rd NON-REFUNDABLE payment of $350 per person due December 21, 2018

  • 4th NON-REFUNDABLE payment of $350 per person due by January 30, 2019

  • Last NON-REFUNDABLE payment of $350 per person due by February 27, 2019

  • Any payments not paid in full by March 1, 2019 will not travel/participate on the Spring Trip

 

CHAPERONE OPPORTUNITY!!

We would like to encourage chaperones to participate, join and assist our band students on the Spring Band Trip.  If you are interested, please confirm on the travel contract and we will contact you regarding participation by November 6. 

 

THE PAYMENT PLAN:

  • 1st NON-REFUNDABLE payment of $350 per person due October 31, 2018

  • 2nd NON-REFUNDABLE payment of $350 per person due November 30, 2018

  • 3rd NON-REFUNDABLE payment of $350 per person due December 21, 2018

  • 4th NON-REFUNDABLE payment of $350 per person due by January 30, 2019

  • Last NON-REFUNDABLE payment of $350 per person due by February 27, 2019

  • Any payments not paid in full by March 1, 2019 you will not travel/participate on the Spring Trip

Payments and refunds

A non-refundable deposit of $350 per person is due by October 31, 2018. This deposit will enter your child as a trip participant and act as a transportation and room deposit.  Please sign and return the form at the end of this document.  Students may turn in payments to the Band Office in the form of a check or money order.  No cash.  Make checks payable to the Rowlett Band Boosters.  The first trip payment declares the student’s intention to go on the trip.  This $350 deposit payment is non-refundable.  If your student does not plan to go on the trip, please check the appropriate item on the attached form and return. 

 

Returned Check Policy

Returned checks for payments to student trip accounts will be deducted from the individual student account.  A $6.00 processing fee per returned item will also be deducted from the individual student account.  The returned items and a trip fund adjustment notification will be sent via U. S. mail to the student's address. This return check policy applies to any check that credits the individual student trip account whether drawn by the parent, student or by a third party on behalf of the student. 

 

 

Cancellation Policy

If cancellation occurs, the following per person penalties will be assessed:

  • Upon signature of contract to Dec 21, 2018-$350 penalty

  • Jan. 1, 2019 to Jan 31, 2019– $700 penalty

  • Feb. 1, 2019 – date of trip (March 7, 2019) – 100% penalty

ALL CANCELLATIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND ADDRESSED TO MR. RUANGTIP.  IF A STUDENT WITHDRAWS FROM BAND OR FAILS A CLASS AND BECOMES INELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE IN THE TRIP, THIS WILL BE CONSIDERED A CANCELLATION AND WILL BE SUBJECT TO THE PENALTIES AS STATED ABOVE.  IF A STUDENT BECOMES DELINQUENT IN THEIR PAYMENT PLAN, THEY WILL BE WITHDRAWN FROM THE TRIP.
