Wind Symphony

Directed by Mr. Art Ruangtip - SARuangt@garlandisd.net

Wind Symphony is considered the first performing ensemble in the band program and is open to students in all four grades.  In order to be a member of this group, a student must demonstrate the highest level of musical maturity, technical proficiency, and commitment to rehearsal and practice time.  A student must seriously pursue individual goals on their instrument as well as working diligently toward ensemble goals.  Auditioning for all-region band and playing a solo or ensemble at the solo and ensemble contest is required. Private lessons are strongly encouraged.
